Sussex Practical Astronomers welcomes all those new to astronomy as well as the more experienced. We invite prospective members along to a meeting as guests in order to meet the membership, learn about our activities and experience one of the monthly meetings at first hand.
Our annual subscription charge for the 2023/24 season is £10.00, reverting to our normal charge of £20.oo thereafter. There is no annual subscription fee for students.
The Society year runs from the month of September to June inclusive, taking a break in July and August, primarily due to the holiday season.
We charge £5.00 “on the door” for both our Monthly Meetings and the Practical Astronomy meetings and members are welcome to bring a guest along. If you have any queries about membership please contact our Membership Secretary at sussexpracticalastronomers.org.uk
